Karibani Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for all products and services offered by Karibani, including live online classes and pre-recorded digital content.
By purchasing or enrolling in any Karibani product or programme, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Live Online Classes and Programmes
This section applies to all live, cohort-based programmes, including but not limited to language classes delivered online over a fixed number of weeks.
1.1 Before the Programme Starts
- Fees are refundable up to 7 days before the programme start date.
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to refunds@karibani.com.
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
1.2 After the Programme Has Started
Once a live programme has begun:
- No refunds will be issued.
This is because:
- The programme is delivered on a cohort basis
- Learners are granted access to:
- Live teaching
- Recorded class sessions
- Learning materials and resources via the Karibani student portal
Access to any part of the programme constitutes delivery of the service.
1.3 Missed Sessions
- No refunds or partial refunds are provided for missed sessions.
- Recordings of live sessions are made available via the student portal to support catch-up learning.
2. Pre-Recorded Classes and Digital Products
This section applies to all pre-recorded courses, videos, and digital learning products sold on the Karibani platform.
2.1 Non-Refundable Digital Content
- All pre-recorded classes and digital products are non-refundable.
- Once access is granted, the product is considered delivered in full.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Pre-recorded video lessons
- On-demand courses
- Downloadable or streamed educational content
2.2 Reason for No Refunds
Due to the digital nature of these products and immediate access upon purchase:
- We are unable to offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations
- This applies regardless of whether the content has been viewed in full or in part
3. Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds outside of this policy may be considered only in exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness or unforeseen events, and are assessed at Karibani’s discretion.
Approval of any exception does not set a precedent for future cases.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund (where applicable):
- Email refunds@karibani.com
- Include:
- Purchaser’s name
- Product or programme name
- Reason for the request
We aim to respond to all refund enquiries within a reasonable timeframe.
5. Changes to This Policy
Karibani reserves the right to update or amend this Refund Policy at any time.
Any changes will be posted on this page and will apply to purchases made after the updated date.
