This class is pure gem. There was a moment where I was part of multicultural choir, and they had one song in yoruba that the group was trying to learn. Everyone turned to me to give them the meaning of the song, and I couldn’t. I felt bad and even some members were surprised that even me didn’t knew my own language that well. I have learned so many words already in this course and I love that I can listen it online…A great way for me as a diasporan to spend my sundays and upskill my cultural background.
